The abbreviation USAP means conversation .
–
This intentional and well thought name USAP Collective actively presents a safe space for vulnerability for artists through conversation that is a tool for meaningful connection as we altogether find linkages , relate and connect to our arts and heritage.

We are a collective of diverse immigrant creatives from photographers, designers, painters, performers, poets, weavers, culinary artists and more who call South Australia their home.

The group aims to connect the dots between our human experiences, balancing the tension of our acculturation. Through arts, we express the human process by which we adopt values, customs, norms, attitudes, and behaviors of Australian culture while remaining attuned to our Filipino ethnicity.

We believe that by coming together as responsible Australian residents and custodians of the Filipino arts, culture and heritage, we will be able to coexist in a multicultural community full of authenticity and meaning.
